  I'm back.

Went to College Park last evening , met up with G. We both decided it was not our thing and decided not to stay and head home around four in the morning. I miss school after being home less two days.

Seeing Caroline ( old caroline ) this coming week.

Looking for Coop but it seems she disappeared to film some things with her " violin man " and I will now insist on meeting him depsite the fact that I know I will detest him.

How do I know this?

Gills says he is hot and that term - although often applied to me - come on you know you have all applied it to me at some time or another - is a detestable term and if the bio girl uses it I fear it must be true.

Heading to DC this evening for dinner with the people who pay my tuition.

Mother's Day - Darfur - End of School Year
May. 14th, 2006 | 10:34 pm

Current Mood: [mood icon] cold
Finished with exams this coming Wednesday then I'll fill everyone in.

This dead journal is dead, most of use are just keeping it hanging by a
thread due to a nostalgia that stems from our old and original Blurty.

I know G and our dear annonymous on the web alice or livia/cooper/tricia as we know her posts only when someone emails her and the same with G.
Think about blogs or if not blogs oving all to LJ which at this time is more convertible.

In the meantime read some of Coo's stuff on Darfur and make yourself useful.

I say this in hope that she will not disappear out of the state the minute I return.

Go visit Considerations on Darfur: Is it Genocide? Again

As well as, Darfur: Happy Mother’s Day.

Happy Mother's Day.

Break
Mar. 30th, 2006 | 04:27 pm

Current Mood: [mood icon] awake
Break finally.

I’m at our house in Rehoboth for the week with some friends and some more friends. Anthony showed up this weekend. Fun Times yet not old times. The more we change the more we change.

Heading back to school in time to watch the NCAA’s there.

Haven’t decided which team my money is going to be on.
I have to look at it realistically instead of sentimentally although with my old alma mater out of it I am tempted to buy into the George Mason dream.

I still think that girls hockey rocks.

I won't see most of you this time because my break is later than most, we don't get out until the 25th.

Looking forward to playing some spring soccer and the NCAA championships.

I have nothing.

Gearing up for finals.

We have a later spring break than most.

Spring Sports have begun, Lacrosse this weekend but it is away for both the men and women.

Women's Ice Hockey Tournament this weekend but not here. Thinking about going up to Dartmouth tomorrow but I 'm going to wait and see how it goes.

I'm ready for Spring.

It's sad but nice being single again.

I won't be in Maryland for break because I am going to London.

Good Times.

Women's Ice Hockey Rocks

I was going to a basketball game but have been convinced to go to a play given here tonight instead.

Women’s ice hockey rocks; I’m not kidding. They are not home this weekend but man they rock. I am addicted.

I went boarding last weekend and brought a friend who has never in his life stepped on a snowy mountain; he returned alive.

Carolyn and I have decided to call it quits for now.
It was fun while it lasted but it never lasts.

I’ll miss her or I would have if I had the time but it is for the best.

Still alive and will write something better eventually.

Old news but as cooper posts this tuff continually at her blog I'm going to post it here for those who haven't done anything about this at their respective tombs of education.

http://www.browndailyherald.com/media/paper472/news/2005/12/01/CampusWatch/Dartmouth.Creates.Darfur.watch.List-1118001.shtml?norewrite&sourcedomain=www.browndailyherald.com

Very busy and when not I'm enjoying what often appears to be spring. My first winder here and it has been warm. There are cold days but I think living so close to the Atlantic has softened this already mild winter.

I have nothing but I'm still alive and a monthly post was in order.

Going way for spring break so won't be back down there.

Leaving tomorrow, will settle in and maybe write some more in this thing once I get settled.

I had a great time watching the game last weekend with you guys. We will have to do it again sometime within the next ten years.

Go Redskins. I say this with a straight face even though I know, and you know they don't have a chance.

Shopping for some necessary items and getting the oil changed.

I can't conceive of a good enough reason to keep this dead journal up so someone please give me one.

Late Happy New Year

In Caanan and heading back to Maryland tomorrow.

Not as good at Utah, not even as good as Vermont, but better than the alternative which was University of Maryland basketball.

I’m watching the Skins Saturday with “the boys” which will be my only contribution to the good old boy network this time around.

Leaving to spend a few days with Caroline after that.

Maybe I’ll se some of you this weekend.

Santa cam to town and fuck him he woke me up
Dec. 23rd, 2005 | 12:53 am

Current Mood: [mood icon] mellow
I'm home.
Santa came rolling through the neighborhood tonight as he did every year that I can remember. I forgot about this occurrence, and when the sirens started going off and I heard voices over what appeared to be a bull horn blaring out all over bum fuck nowhere Maryland I was certain another high school student had bitten the dust down the road past the turn; how relieved I was when I found out it was Santa. One fire truck, one large Santa, a car in front, a car behind, all with sirens blaring and bull honors screaming.

Good to be home.

I need the sleep.

Finals commence Monday.

My exams end Thursday and Wednesday will be my nightmare.

I'm picking up my brother in Boston and we are driving home. His exams don't end until Monday,so I'm going to Wildcat for three days then going back to Boston to pick him up. Hope the weather holds out.

I'm not sure how long I will be in Maryland. The only for sure is through Christmas.

Later.

Post Thanksgiving

Current Music: Breakfast at Tiffany's - who the hell knows
Spent Thanksgiving with Caroline at her parent’s home which is forty five minutes northeast of NYC we did nothing but eat and watch television for most of the day but later on in the evening we went to see the new Harry Potter movie. It was pretty good I’ll admit it even though I have never been a fan.

Friday we both went to visit some of her friends and just hung around and shopped- yes shopped- it was a horrible experience because shopping is not one of my favorite activities. She kept throwing out hints about things she wanted for Christmas and asking me what I want. I wasn’t thinking about Christmas at the time just wishing it were Saturday and I could head back to school.

It figures cooper, g and addy are home at the same time for the first time in a couple of years and I’m not there.

Came back Saturday and went to dinner with Joe up in Boston.
School will be busy the next few weeks and I can’t wait for winter break.
Caroline wants to plan a trip. I feel bad but I don’t really want to plan a trip with her I think going with my friends is what I need right now. A friend of mine from here is getting up a trip and I’m considering going with him and some other people from here.

That's it for me and happy belated birthday to Joey, heard the party was fun wish I could have been there.

The only bad thing at this moment is that my roommates girl friend is here and she is playing Breakfast at Tiffany's. The song not the movie.

The Winter of My Discontent Has Passed.
Nov. 16th, 2005 | 07:00 am

Current Music: Blessed Quiet.
The winter of my discontent has passed dear friends and hopefully this winter will be in direct opposition to the last. Nothing wrong with Philadelphia but this is better.

It's cold, I'm busy and I wish I could ramble on in fine form as some people but I can't.

Two basic points because I have received some emails from several of the more ignorant among you.

This is also a note to cooper, g and d who happened to be the only ones who did not quickly throw off a general mocking email about sex power and god.

Bill O'Reilly is an idiot and by the looks of his face a hard drinking one with high blood pressure. You need to turn off Fox news and start thinking for yourselves.

I went to Villanova originally remember? There is sex power and goddage everywhere and don't tell me that it is only my friends from NYU, Cornell and that small liberal arts bastion in the middle of Ohio that are aware of that fact.

http://geocities.com/browndarfur

thanks to friends who got me involved in this long before I came here.

Comments off I am too busy basking in the life of liberal academia and helping to decide what kind of party we could throw next. Looking for something that might actually give the old dude a stroke next time. Nothing he can't recover completely from of course but something that may help him see the Jesus those people often talk about.

Forgive me Uncle Dan ( Father W Danial M)

No Vacation Here

Current Mood: [mood icon] content
I was planning on going somewhere warm for Thanksgiving but I'm going to save it for Christmas. I'm not going home for Thanksgiving I'm going to spend it with Carolyn and come back here early. I have more work to do then I planned for so until break my presence will be scarce. I'll be home for some of the Christmas holiday but I’m not sure for how long. I was thinking of getting a job here for those few weeks but looking at it all the jobs in Maryland are much easier to come by.

I'll let you know what my plans are.

This long distance relationship thing is not working out as well as I had hoped but I won't get into it right now.

Joe's coming down tomorrow with some friends.

More later.

Ice Hockey here tonight; college hockey quite differet from professional hockey but as it is hockey season I will mention that I enjoy it. I will meet Joe in Boston for several hockey games this season I imagine.

This is a scrimmage but everything else is off campus this weekend.

Soccer is still my sport.

It is perfectly alright to pop in every three months and leave a note about what you are doing; the old dialogue was entertaining.

Weather sucks.
I'm out of here for now.

I love this school, I can tell you that Nova was just not for me, at all under any circumstance and believe it or not there is a spirituality of the mind here that I did not find at Nova.

comments off I just felt like posting a note.

To you U of MD people- what is going on with that football team? Will Basketball rock this year?

I know we are not getting it like New Hampshire, but this is ridiculous not to mention the rain is very depressing.

Love the weather here,not unexpected.

No more today.
